A new book by the author Ron Suskind claims that the White House ordered the CIA to forge a back-dated, handwritten letter from the head of Iraqi intelligence to Saddam Hussein. The author also claims that the Bush administration had information from a top Iraqi intelligence official “that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq – intelligence they received in plenty of time to stop an invasion. They secretly resettled the official in Jordan, paid him $5 million in hush money, and then used his captive status to help deceive the world about one of the era’s most crushing truths: that America had gone to war under false pretenses,” the book says.
Hey, really, how stupid are we in this country? I actually am coming to appreciate the psychopaths who are running things. They've gotten so unabashed and ruthless because we've become so sheepish and submissive, and we need to see that, even as we lose our houses, our credit and solvency and our health. We need to learn this way apparently, so thanks, George and Dick. Thanks, Enron. Thanks, Blackwater.
Do it to me one more time.
