Senate Minority Leader Jon Kyl, Republican of Arizona, opposes pay limits on bailed-out bankers.
Here's Jon Kyl in his own misleading words:
"Because of their excesses, very bad things begin to happen, like the United States government telling a company what it can pay its employees. That's not a good thing in America."
Where's the split in consciousness? President Obama isn't telling "a company" what it can pay its "employees." He's telling specific companies, the ones that screwed the public because of their greed and incompetence and now have to bailed out with billions of dollars of the public's money, that their executives cannot make more than $500,000 in salary while still needing to be bailed out thusly.
HELLO?!
