I wear eye glasses full-time, now. Without them, most things near or far are somewhat blurry visually. Yet, twice recently, I went to the park with a friend and played softball - which includes catching and hitting a sphere being thrown at me, and hitting a target when I'm doing the throwing - without wearing my glasses.
That's right. I took them off without really thinking about it, perhaps because I never wore glasses back in the day when I regularly played softball.
I didn't think about it.
And by the way, I didn't make one error in the field in today's foray. Yep. Somehow, I "saw" the ball, even though I shouldn't have been able to.
