Being available for our loved people, and of course, for our children, is being human. Interfering in their development and lives, that's a whole different story.Isabel Parejahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06327055791331843534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8008810052310749969.post-79666592827264363882008-03-11T11:34:00.000-04:002008-03-11T11:34:00.000-04:00Here's the actual link to "In Praise of Lazy Paren...Here's the actual link to "In Praise of Lazy Parenting".Samhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05818701588200368311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8008810052310749969.post-86111749945712078832008-03-11T11:32:00.000-04:002008-03-11T11:32:00.000-04:00To see the actual article, and to find more Wonder...To see the actual article, and to find more Wondertime articles, go to wondertime.com.Samhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05818701588200368311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8008810052310749969.post-14106630150222337112008-03-10T13:23:00.000-04:002008-03-10T13:23:00.000-04:00Thanks for that, I really think this point of view...Thanks for that, I really think this point of view is refreshing, especially in light of what so many parents are struggling with these days.
I think your insights are absolutely correct and I do believe that the children with a smaller dose of parental involvement/influence, at least in my family, actually seem to fair better as adults.

However, I wouldn't say "LESS PARENTAL AVAILABILITY equals MORE SUCCESSFUL OFFSPRING!"
