TODAY'S "ONESS" QUOTE!
"The moments you look back upon with deepest regret – the ones that conjure up within you the most profound humiliation in your own eyes – are the moments for which you choose a human incarnation."
THANKS FOR THE COFFEE, JON STEWART!
I missed the first five of Jon Stewart's 16 years on TV. I hadn't heard about him. So, I didn't start watching until 2004. After a while, though, as the Aughts progressed and the run-up to 5D accelerated, the Daily Show became the main current events source of information I that could actually tolerate.
As I realized that the world was shifting in a genuinely profound way, literally into 2 Earths, one remaining in 3D, one ascending into a higher dimension (Read more HERE), it became clear that the mainstream media, for the most part, both liberal and conservative, were staying behind.
By looking at events, and the media itself, with laughter and incessantly satirical scrutiny, the Daily Show with Jon Stewart became a welcome aid to those who were waking up. Stewart served the coffee to many over the last decade.
And now, after a multitude of Emmys, and many career launches of cast members, he's leaving Comedy Central and the Daily Show. Thursday night, 8/6/15, was his last show. It makes sense. We don't need him anymore. If you're reading this, you're in 5D. 3D, and all of its linear, limited, dualistic confines, is no more, even though some hang onto the old rules or habits. And the ascension process to 5D is well underway (Read more HERE). No turning back. We made it.
So, Jon Stewart can move onto whatever the next task on his journey is.
Thanks, Jon. Have a great ride!

TODAY'S JON STEWART QUOTE!
"You'd have nights where you would just bomb on stage and you would feel like the biggest loser in the world. And then you'd have other nights with the same material where you would crush. What it begins to teach you is that the reaction is not necessarily the barometer of the quality of something."

REPOST: THE TRUTH ABOUT EVERYTHING, PART ONE: SEX IS THE MOST POWERFUL WAY TO ACCESS SOURCE ENERGY!
Inspired by an amazing book, THE MAGDALEN MANUSCRIPT, by Tom Kenyon and Jodi Sion, a 5D must read, I am reposting the first installment in my series from a few years ago, THE TRUTH ABOUT EVERYTHING.
Enjoy! Really!
This is the first entry in what I'm imagining will be a series in which I will discuss... well... the truth about everything. The truth about everything?! Well, to qualify, at least the truth as it has been made known to me by opening up the inner channels in myself and through observing and receiving information from other open channels and through an accumulated body of knowledge that came from exploring the inner and outer lives of a multitude of individuals over several decades. And the "everything" part will be the main things that preoccupy the minds of most human beings a good amount of the time that they are human beings. So, naturally, I started with sex.
Of course, if I were to start with the highest levels of the truth about everything, this would be a very short post indeed, because contrary to what our complex intellects are inclined to believe, the higher you go, the simpler the truths are. Basically, the defining truths of our known universe are: we exist, we create our own reality, we are all one, love is the essence of All That Is, and change/movement is continuous in all things at all times. That's all of it. End of story in the big picture.
That being said, there are in the "smaller picture," let us say, lesser truths, truths that pertain to particular lines of reality and collective agreements and "games" that we have agreed to participate in that effect our day-to-day experiences in what appear to be more immediate ways in 3rd dimensional reality.
One of those truths is that sex, and the orgasm experience, particularly when experienced in conjunction with love and Eros, is one of the most direct ways that physical human beings can access the source energy of All That Is. The full experience of orgasm, especially while in the throws of love and Eros, can heal physical illnesses, can clarify the confusion our accumulated beliefs engender, can free up creative expression and can even be accessed to attract material abundance. Furthermore, metaphysically speaking, the orgasm experience, for the brief period that it lasts, literally does "get you off," as in off the planet! Yep. When you are in the throws of a good orgasm, you are blown (no pun intended) out of 3rd dimensional consciousness up to anywhere from a 5th to 9th dimensional vibration, according to some channelled information I recently came upon (again, no pun intended.)
The orgasm experience in general, even at lesser levels of intensity, such as through simple masturbation, can effect positive shifts in our health and well-being. Recent studies, for example, have shown that regular orgasms are in direct proportion to healthier immune systems, better heart health, lesser rates of depression, and in men, orgasms in mid-life decrease the risk of prostate cancer and in women, orgasm can act as an analgesic during pre-menstrual symptoms and menstrual pains.
THIS is a quote from a piece by Deepak Chopra:
"Sexual energy is the primal and creative energy of the universe. All things that are alive come from sexual energy. In animals and other life forms, sexual energy expresses itself as biological creativity. In humans, sexual energy can be creative at all levels -- physical, emotional and spiritual. In any situation -- where we feel attraction, arousal, awakening, alertness, passion, interest, inspiration, excitement, creativity, enthusiasm -- in each of these situations, sexual energy is at work. Whenever we feel these states of awareness, we must put our attention on the energy that we are experiencing, nourishing it with our attention, experiencing it with joy and keeping it alive in our awareness. Sexual desire is sacred and chaste. The suppression of sexual energy is false, ugly and unchaste. During sexual union, there is union between flesh and spirit."
THIS is from the Pathwork Guide Lecture entitled:
"The Spiritual Symbolism and Significance of Sexuality:"
"In the human realm the power of sexuality can, in its most ideal form, be the greatest 'representative' of spiritual existence. There is no other human experience that conveys so fully what spiritual bliss, oneness, and timelessness are: the timeless Now, beyond the confines of time. In the total sexual experience man breaks through the confines of time and separateness to which his limited mind has bound him. Through such an experience man is reminded of his true existence in the eternal."
Likewise, we can never underestimate the damage done, individually and collectively, from sexual repression. The old slogan from the 60's - "Make love not war." - was on the mark. I have often asked people if after a passionate session of lovemaking, culminating in system-clearing orgasms with someone they love, have they ever felt inclined to follow that amazing experience up by starting a war, or stealing someone's pension or throwing toxins in our water supply? Right. The suppression of sex and all that brings has led to negative, destructive outcomes in so many areas of life. Read more HERE.
So, that's entry #1, folks, on The Truth About Everything. It all starts with sex!

TODAY'S "ONENESS" QUOTE!
"When you permit yourself the luxury of openly, unabashedly, fantasizing about what it is you truly yearn for, and dream of, you set into motion the energetic parameters for manifesting your heart’s desire. Until you give free expression to the limitless vision you keep under wraps, you cannot, by definition, create it in your reality. When you operate your life from the mind-set of unworthiness to have your heart’s desire—when the thrust of your energy is not daring to ask for what you truly want out of fear of disappointment—that disappointment is virtually guaranteed."

REPOST: IN PRAISE OF LAZY PARENTING!
Bravo! Yahoo! I love this!!
This wonderful article, "In Praise of Lazy Parenting," once appeared in an issue of Wondertime Magazine. In a playful but dead-on bit of writing, the author and mother, Brett Paesel, describes the benefits to all of being an adult around your kids, so your kids can be kids. I have been saying this as loudly as I can for years now. But now, listen to someone else.
This is music-to-my-ears from Paesel:
"Your devotion to your own well-being may benefit your children more than you know. It could be making you a happier, saner mother. You could be doing your kids a favor by giving them a chance to develop a solid sense of independence. In fact, you could even consider your laissez-faire approach an act of faith in your kids and their ability to figure things out for themselves."
Yes! Yes! That is one of my biggest chastisements of the over-involved, course-controlling parent - you are showing no faith in the child's innate ability to learn and grow in a direction set forth before birth by their souls. In fact, you are treating your children as if they were soulless, and therefore in desperate need of your self-ordained Godly intervention.
Here's more from Paesel:
"I’ve noticed that an unintended benefit of my indolence is that my sons have made do with each other as playmates — thereby becoming best friends. This is something I hadn’t anticipated, since they’re almost four years apart. But last Saturday, after spending the entire afternoon with just each other, they told me they’re starting a business together: selling information they’ve printed out from the Internet. I feel proud. And why mess with this potentially lucrative partnership?"
Right. Children learn best from each other. Parents can only input information to children, and that inputting decreases their independent capacities to learn and be inquisitive, and the information being given is always, ALWAYS biased by the parents' set of experiences, beliefs and values.
Keep going, Brett:
"Since Spence [the oldest] wants more sophisticated company, he’s teaching 3-year-old Murphy to read. Spencer started reading at around 4 because, though I love reading chapter books, I tired of his repeated requests to hear dry accounts of the life cycle of beetles or termites eating dung. If he taught himself to read, I told him, he wouldn’t have to depend on me to entertain him. Now he has something to do on long car trips while Daddy and Mommy rock out to Led Zeppelin."
Mmm-hmm! But what about domestic duties?
"I wish I could say parenthood has awakened my dormant interest in cooking. But it turns out the interest isn’t dormant — it’s nonexistent. So in an effort to keep my kids healthy, I’ve stumbled onto the raw foods craze. True, Spencer and Murphy won’t eat foods that touch each other, but they do eat tons of fresh strawberries, broccoli, and avocado. So I’m not just a mom who can’t be bothered to sauté; I’m on the cutting edge of nutrition. I can’t face picking up toys that will simply wind up back on the floor. As a result, I’ve mandated “clean-up time” after dinner: The kids have to throw all of their toys in the appropriate bins in 10 minutes, and then they get their gummy vitamins. I set the kitchen timer, and the boys run around picking up toys like it’s an Olympic event. Their lucky wives are going to thank me later."
That's a big one. I am always railing about how treating your children like Princes or Princesses, with the parents in the role of servants, is not only discouraging the kids from ever growing up, but also making it impossible for them to be in an adult relationship one day. I can assure you that no adult partner is going to trim the crust off your son's toast when he's 30 years old, and any daughter who continues to need to be told that she's the "fairest in the land" in order to feel secure is in for a lot of psychotherapy!
More:
"As Spencer and Murphy have gotten older, they’ve found it increasingly difficult to fall asleep at 7:30. I, however, still need two or three hours to myself at night, precious childfree time to devote to my husband and Jon Stewart. So, instead of pushing their bedtime, I’ve created “Adult Time”: The boys can stay up until 9, talking and playing quietly, as long as they don’t bother me for anything more involved than a glass of water. “Adult Time” was initially enforced to serve my needs, but I’ve found the boys enjoy conspiring and giggling in their beds. Last week, I was delighted to be shooed out of the room when I came in to close a window. “No adults allowed,” Spence said. I deferentially retired to the living room and a make-out session with my husband under the unknowing eyes of Jon Stewart."
JOY! JOY! JOY! ADULT TIME!! Listen, folks, if you're an adult and you think you don't need much adult time, YOU'RE NOT AN ADULT! And if you think you don't need regular doses of heavy-duty making-out, you're letting your children know how passionless adult life will be for them one day, too. Like the author/mother here demonstrates, when you live your life like an independent, sensually alive adult, your kids become self-reliant and confident, they love their bodies and feelings, and they discover the true joy of mastery. One of the things James Lipton of the Actors Studio is always remarking on is how many really successful and talented actors who come on his show came from broken homes, either through divorce or death. Well, how obvious is that? LESS PARENTAL AVAILABILITY equals MORE SUCCESSFUL OFFSPRING!
Thank you, Brett Paesel! You are one heck of a great lazy mom!!

TODAY'S "SECRET O' LIFE" LYRICS!
The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time
Any fool can do it
There ain't nothing to it
Nobody knows how we got to
The top of the hill
But since we're on our way down
We might as well enjoy the ride
Any fool can do it
There ain't nothing to it
Nobody knows how we got to
The top of the hill
But since we're on our way down
We might as well enjoy the ride
The secret of love is in opening up your heart
It's okay to feel afraid
But don't let that stand in your way
'cause anyone knows that love is the only road
And since we're only here for a while
Might as well show some style
Give us a smile
It's okay to feel afraid
But don't let that stand in your way
'cause anyone knows that love is the only road
And since we're only here for a while
Might as well show some style
Give us a smile
Isn't it a lovely ride
Sliding down
Gliding down
Try not to try too hard
It's just a lovely ride
Sliding down
Gliding down
Try not to try too hard
It's just a lovely ride
Now the thing about time is that time
Isn't really real
It's just your point of view
How does it feel for you
Einstein said he could never understand it all
Planets spinning through space
The smile upon your face
Welcome to the human race
Isn't really real
It's just your point of view
How does it feel for you
Einstein said he could never understand it all
Planets spinning through space
The smile upon your face
Welcome to the human race
Some kind of lovely ride
I'll be sliding down
I'll be gliding down
Try not to try too hard
It's just a lovely ride
I'll be sliding down
I'll be gliding down
Try not to try too hard
It's just a lovely ride
Isn't it a lovely ride
Sliding down
Gliding down
Try not to try too hard
It's just a lovely ride
Sliding down
Gliding down
Try not to try too hard
It's just a lovely ride
Now the secret of life is enjoying the passage of time.

TODAY'S QUOTE!
“Your inner purpose is to awaken. It is as simple as that. You share that purpose with every other person on the planet - because it is the purpose of humanity.”
(Eckhart Tolle)UPDATE ON BEING "BORED TO DEATH!"
A while ago, I wrote a piece, simply titled "BORED TO DEATH?," in which I cited a study, the results of which demonstrated that those who reported they had been very bored were two and a half times more likely to die of a heart problem than those who hadn't reported being bored.
Well, recently, a group of metaphysical truth seekers and I received some very interesting and powerful information on this subject. It seems that our Higher Selves can indeed "pull the plug" on a lifetime in which the incarnated personality has become so congested, disenchanted, bored, etc., that finishing out the lifetime isn't worth it... not just to the human being, but to the Higher Self as well.
In some existences, and perhaps this is more often the case than not, a Higher Self may have many incarnations going on simultaneously, and in a certain sense, there is, then, a distribution of energy from the Higher Self to the various incarnated selves that takes place. Last night's information suggests that the Higher Self has its own priorities when it comes to the disbursement of that energy.
Now, this does not amount to the Higher Self "murdering" the incarnated self. Since all aspects of the self, from the child/lower self to the adult and on up, are one with the Higher Self, it is always a joint decision, though the human aspect may not be conscious of its decision to end a lifetime.
So, what does this mean for we humans, practically speaking?
Well, if you're going to live... then live!
"Every death is a suicide," spiritual teachers have said in variously different ways. In other words, there is always a decision being made, and always an agreement involved, when a physical life is ended. If you are aware of your desire to live, and do whatever it takes to actualize yourself into a life that you feel is worth living, your Higher Self will support you. If you exhaust yourself with anger and resistance, or boredom, if you decide your life's not worth living, your Higher Self will support you in that as well.
It's always up to you.

IT'S 2015 - WHICH WAVE ARE YOU?!
If you're still here, which you are if you're reading this, of course, then you are one of three waves of incarnate beings (i.e. - people) who are on Planet Earth right now to assist and participate in not only the greatest transition in the history of our planet, but in one of the greatest events in the history of the entire universe!
Congratulations!
Now, I've been writing a great deal over the last few years about this transition, and I've been telling people that what is happening - right here, right now - has never happened before. Earth, the planet, as a whole, has shifted its dimensional frequency. According to some sources, like Dolores Cannon, one of the foremost writers on these matters, this has never happened before in our universe.
"Never has an entire planet shifted its vibration into a new dimensional frequency. Many individual souls and groups of souls (like the Mayans, for example) have shifted in this way before, but never has an entire planet shifted all at once," according to Dolores.
In her book, The Three Waves of Volunteers and The New Earth, Dolores outlines who these volunteers are:
The First Wave: Now in their late 40s to early 60s, these volunteers cut the path, so to speak, working hard to increase awareness and raise consciousness, beginning in the 1960's. Much disturbed by the violence, anger and hate that they experienced on Earth half a century ago, this group had to be sturdy. Some from this generation had a hard time adjusting to life as a human being, and many of them even tried to commit suicide.
The Second Wave: Now in their late 20s to late 30s, these volunteers are more comfortable in bodies and are said to be beacons or channels of energy who can affect others just by being near them. Their mission of just sharing their energy with others means that they don’t have to do a great deal in terms of outer actions to be of service. Sometimes criticized as the "Me Generation," it is perhaps more accurate that they be called the "Be Generation."
The Third Wave: The new children, many of whom are now teenagers, have all the knowledge needed to exist on the planet after the dimensional shift and transformation takes place. Their DNA is more advanced, and the greatest challenge they face is being misunderstood by others, who often attempt to label them with fictitious conditions (like ADHD) and medicate them.
Here's more from Dolores:
"We’re moving away from the negativity of the Old Earth, and it’s going to be a complete turnaround, beyond belief, and we’re all going there now. The New Earth is where it’s at. We are living in the most important time in the history of the Universe, and it’s very important to be here now. There are thousands of souls who want to be here to experience this – even if they can just be here for a few hours. For some, even if they’re born and die right away, they can say, 'I was there when this occurred.' This is how important this is to the entire Universe."
Well, how cool is that?!
Thanks, Dolores!

REPOST: "BORED TO DEATH?!"
No joke, folks!
In an article in the International Journal of Epidemiology, experts concluded that the more bored you are, the more likely you are to die early!
The researchers analyzed questionnaires completed by more than 7,500 London civil servants 20 years ago, ages 35 to 55. The civil servants were asked if they had felt bored at work during the previous month. The researchers then tracked down how many of the participants had died by April 2009. Those who reported they had been very bored were two and a half times more likely to die of a heart problem than those who hadn't reported being bored.
Dr. Christopher Cannon, an associate professor of medicine at Harvard University and spokesman for the American College of Cardiology said if people's boredom was ultimately linked to depression, it wouldn't be surprising if they were more susceptible to heart attacks; depression has long been recognized as a risk factor for heart disease. Cannon also said it was possible that when people are bored, dangerous hormones are released in the body that stress the heart.
"Boredom is not innocuous," said Sandi Mann, a senior lecturer in occupational psychology at the University of Central Lancashire who studies boredom. She said boredom is linked to anger suppression, which can raise blood pressure and suppress the body's natural immunity.
Yo! Are you listening? Or are you bored?! Well, if you're bored, it's not because this information isn't interesting. Its because you're sitting on a bunch of suppressed feelings that this article is tweaking and you don't want to hear it. Or feel it!
As Alexander Lowen so brilliantly catalogued in his studies on "the language of the body," we know that what's going on inside ourselves emotionally manifests physically in our bodies. "He has a stiff upper lip," "She's a pain in the neck (or ass)," "He's a tight ass," "Get off my back!" "I have a lump in my throat," etc., etc. We remind ourselves through our verbal expressions that our emotions and our body are connected.
In other words, "Bored to death" is a formula, not just a colloquialism.
Boredom isn't a feeling, see? It's an "affective state" caused by the suppression of feelings. And trying to cover up your boredom with excessive activity or drama isn't going to work, either, by the way. No. People who die prematurely from "Type A" stressed-out living are suffering from the same disease as those who die prematurely from boredom. The disease is suppressed emotions.
Get yourself into some penetrating self-work, people. There's no other way. You're not going to be magically rescued from your boring jobs, from your dead marriages or from your addiction to Facebook. You need to get a life! For real. And yes, I know. I know. I say this so often on this blog that it's now... boring me to tears!

TODAY'S "ONENESS" QUOTE!
"For, when life is working for you, it cannot be to the detriment of another being. That’s not how it works. Choices that give the illusion of putting your back against the wall are the very tests that hold the potential of monumental breakthroughs for all concerned. When you honor your own truth, unconditionally, it sets the stage for a chain reaction of transformation, all the way around."

ANGRY ANYMORE?!
HERE is a link to Ani DiFranco's song: "ANGRY ANYMORE," and below are the lyrics.
It is an ambivalent message at first glance, seeming on the one hand to say, "I understand, Mom and Dad, what you went through, how you became those people stuck in limitations that I then had to endure in my childhood," and in that understanding, "I'm not angry anymore."
On the other hand, Mom and Dad, I don't want to become you or be like you, fighting a subterranean, internal "cold war," or learning to "just get by" in my life. And so in that separation from you, and in my letting go of my identifications with you, "I'm not angry anymore."
This is the work, people. Becoming aware of, revealing, and owning the truth of where we came from in a given lifetime, and who we came from, and then effecting the work of separation and individuation. It's a row to hoe, but you can do it!
Here's Ani in her words:

ANGRY ANYMORE
growing up it was just me and my mom
against the world
and all my sympathies were with her
when i was a little girl
but now i've seen both my parents
play out the hands they were dealt
and as each year goes by
i know more about how my father must have felt
against the world
and all my sympathies were with her
when i was a little girl
but now i've seen both my parents
play out the hands they were dealt
and as each year goes by
i know more about how my father must have felt
i just want you to understand
that i know what all the fighting was for
and i just want you to understand
that i'm not angry anymore
i'm not angry anymore
that i know what all the fighting was for
and i just want you to understand
that i'm not angry anymore
i'm not angry anymore
she taught me how to wage a cold war
with quiet charm
but i just want to walk
through my life unarmed
to accept and just get by
like my father learned to do
but without all the acceptance and getting by
that got my father through
with quiet charm
but i just want to walk
through my life unarmed
to accept and just get by
like my father learned to do
but without all the acceptance and getting by
that got my father through
night falls like people into love
we generate our own light
to compensate
for the lack of light from above
every time we fight
a cold wind blows our way
we generate our own light
to compensate
for the lack of light from above
every time we fight
a cold wind blows our way
but we learn like the trees
how to bend
how to sway and say
how to bend
how to sway and say
i, i think i understand
what all this fighting is for
and baby, i just want you to understand
that i'm not angry anymore
no, i'm not angry anymore
what all this fighting is for
and baby, i just want you to understand
that i'm not angry anymore
no, i'm not angry anymore
REPOST: "FULL PERMISSION EATING!"
This is a real FPL oldie, but having just arrived back from a 10-day culinary tour of Italy, I felt inspired to dig it up.
FULL PERMISSION EATING!
Remember these lyrics from the classic K.C. and the Sunshine Band?
"Baby, babe, let's get together.
Honey, hon, me and you.
And do the things, ah, do the things
That we like to do.
Do a little dance, make a little love,
Get down tonight.
Get down tonight."
Well, according to two studies, written about in the NY Times a bit ago, red wine will help you live longer and sugar won't kill you, even if you're diabetic. Woah! For real?
From one of the articles:
"Two large studies involving more than 21,000 people found that people with Type 2 diabetes had no reduction in their risk of heart attacks and strokes and no reduction in their death rate if they rigorously controlled their blood sugar levels."
And from the other:
"Red wine may be much more potent than was thought in extending human lifespan."
What gives? Well, the bottom line, if you want to skip ahead, is this: what promotes good health and longevity, first and foremost, are happiness and pleasure. Or, first read this...
A psychology professor at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Paul Rozin, who specializes in, yes, the psychology of food, conducted a survey in America, France, Belgium and Japan in an effort to explain what is referred to as the "French Paradox." The paradox is basically this: the French consume a diet that is very rich and high in fat, yet they have a low rate of obesity and enjoy generally good health (The same can be said of Italians, in Italy, by the way).
Americans, on the other hand, are obsessed with counting calories and cholesterol levels and worry excessively about the effects of food on their bodies, yet they have a very high rate of obesity comparatively, and suffer with more health problems. Dr. Rozin’s survey suggests that the determining factor may be the different cultural attitudes towards food and pleasure.
Rozin is quoted in the journal "Appetite" as saying:
"There is a sense among Americans that food is as much a poison as it is a nutrient, and that eating is almost as dangerous as not eating." He goes on to say that "…when a major aspect of life becomes a stress and source of substantial worry, as opposed to pleasure, effects might be seen in both cardiovascular and immune systems."
Rozin’s researcher found that the French, on the other hand, of whom only 4 percent follow diets in line with the American recommended guidelines for fat intake, associate eating more with pleasure than with health.
In a related story, the New York Times ran an article in its "Eating Well" column, by Marian Burros, that quoted two professors on nutrition and obesity extolling the virtues and health benefits of enjoying such luscious holiday foods as foie gras, caviar and pumpkin pie, believe it or not!
Listen to this:
"Tucked in between the cholesterol and the saturated fat, the calories and the salt in the foie gras, the sausage stuffing and the standing rib roast, there are dozens of nutrients that are highly recommended by the food police. These are the vitamins and minerals and phytochemicals that may prevent cancer and heart disease and a host of other diseases. Everyone already knows that chocolate is a health food: Two pounds of it, particularly dark chocolate, has the same cancer-fighting antioxidants as a quart of tea. But did you know that each time you eat a three-ounce piece of pumpkin pie you may well be reducing your risk of cataracts and macular degeneration? The pumpkin in that small wedge of pie is filled with carotenoids, almost 3,000 micrograms of beta carotene, 1,900 of alpha carotene and 400 of lutein, the carotenoid connected with cataract prevention."
Where is this leading us?
Well, the Times also printed an article on Dr. Rozin’s study entitled, "If It Feels Good, Eat It." [FULL PERMISSION EATING!]
People will be up in arms perhaps at the suggestion that eating what we truly desire, what we really enjoy, is a reasonable guideline for a diet, yet that is precisely the message of these studies, and it is in keeping with the conceptual foundation of Full Permission Living, which is that human beings, if allowed to follow their undistorted desires, will naturally do what’s best for themselves and others without resorting to excess and without having to sacrifice pleasure. Furthermore, if one engages in any activity, including eating, with a spirit of enjoyment and gratitude, it is understood that what you take in will benefit you. That may be the original reason for saying a blessing before a meal - to get your mind and digestive system into a positive and receptive mode (gratitude) to aid absorption and facilitate nourishment.
I’ve often thought about the movie, "Michael", in this regard. John Travolta plays the archangel by the same name, and in the film the high-order angelic character is seen consuming huge amounts of sugar, drinking beer, smoking cigarettes and of course, dancing and cavorting with women. I asked myself when I first saw the movie, could such a spiritual being actually indulge himself in that manner and not suffer any negative consequences? Absolutely, I realized. Such a being would be so connected to his spiritual self, so full of joy and gratitude that whatever molecules he took into his body would immediately be transmuted into good nourishment. After all, everything is made of the same basic particles of energy, whether it’s steamed organic broccoli or a hamburger!
So what determines the effect of various foods on the body? It must be the individual’s state of consciousness, one’s inner beliefs and attitudes.
Indeed, my own grandfather, "Pete", lived without major illness until he died of old age at 91, and he regularly consumed sugar and salt, smoked cigarettes and drank alcohol until the end. How did he do it? Well, for one thing, he rarely indulged in anything to excess, but also, no matter what doctors, the media or younger worried family members said to him, he genuinely never believed these things would harm him. So, perhaps that is why they didn’t. He also rejected stressful behavior as a requirement for being successful, even though he had his own business to run which he did for almost four decades. I never saw Grandpa Pete anxiously rushing around or fretting about anything.
Now, let me issue a qualifier here - none of us is Michael the Archangel and most of us are not, in our hyper-vigilant, type-A culture, Grandpa Pete! Most of us are harboring hidden self-destructive or fearful beliefs and attitudes, and so will unconsciously use food and anything else to create suffering for ourselves if we're not conscious. So the "undistorted desires" part is crucial to living with full permission. Furthermore, if you believe that certain things are harmful to your health, you can’t trick yourself by superimposing another belief over that one and expect not to have disastrous results. How you feel about yourself and your body is a key element that must be brought into conscious awareness in order to be a "healthy hedonist," and the channels to your natural pleasure instinct must be cleared of blockages as well. In other words, a full-spectrum healing process may be needed before you can start indulging in the daily red wine and sweet treats.
Here are some great words of wisdom from Jane Roberts’ "Seth" book, "The Way Toward Health":
"The ideas you have, then, play a large role in the way the body handles its nutrients, and utilizes health and vitality…it is possible for your ideas to cause chemical reactions that impede your body’s ability to accept nourishment. If you believe that the body is evil, the purest health food diet may do you little good at all, while if you have a healthy desire and respect for your physical body, a diet of TV dinners and even fast foods may well keep you healthy and nourished. If we are talking about health, it is to your beliefs that we must look. It is up to you to form a body of beliefs that is worthy of your physical image – for you are nourished by your beliefs, and those beliefs can cause your daily bread to add to your vitality, or add to your cares and stress."
Yeah, yeah. Pass the tiramisu, please.
Oh, and don't forget...

TOO BUSY FOR VACATION? MAYBE YOU'RE ADDICTED TO INTENSITY!
Just back from 10 days in Italy, on a culinary tour, specifically, of Bologna and Salerno. It was, to say the least, fulfilling and filling!
Ahhh... vacation. Americans are traditionally not particularly good at relaxing. We have the longest work-days and work-weeks, and the shortest paid vacation time compared to most countries. This is, of course, what we were creating individually and collectively in 3D, but now, in 5D, that's getting old quick.
I've written before on our "addictions to intensity and anxiety" (You can read three of the posts HERE.) I've also written about the importance of vacation time (HERE and HERE and HERE.). Vacations are crucial to our well-being not only for the purposes of rest and rejuvenation, but also to actually remind us of how to live in a state of alignment.

HERE is a quote from an essay entitled: "The ‘Busy’ Trap," by TIM KREIDER:
"Busyness serves as a kind of existential reassurance, a hedge against emptiness; obviously your life cannot possibly be silly or trivial or meaningless if you are so busy, completely booked, in demand every hour of the day."

DO YOU GET THIS, YET?!
I can't tell you how many times I've heard people tell me in recent times that they are "exhausted"... and they don't know why. Or, even worse, that they think they do know why - i.e. - because they're working so many hours, or not sleeping enough hours, or manically multi-tasking a career, a relationship, parenting, going to the gym...
I usually respond, as compassionately as I can, with one word: "NO!"
No? Yes. No. The things you do or don't do externally are not what's exhausting you. It's what you're doing or not doing internally that's draining your energy. Especially during this time of energetic, vibrational acceleration. I've used the metaphor of human beings as swimmers in a powerful river many times to illustrate the situation, of how much energy it takes to be in judgment, fear or anger, how exhausting it is to try and resist change.

I've used the metaphor of human beings as swimmers in a powerful river many times to illustrate the situation, of how much energy it takes to be in judgment, fear or anger, how exhausting it is to try and resist change.
Following is an eloquent and spot-on passage from a very timely book, "GREAT HUMAN POTENTIAL: WALKING IN ONE'S OWN LIGHT," by Wendy Kennedy and Tom Kenyon. (NOTE: Check out the last paragraph on how you can truly help your entire family.)
"All frequencies wish to synchronize. If you have a strong higher frequency and a weak lower frequency, the lower one will naturally increase to match that of the higher. The natural flow of life is always towards source. It is about connections and reintegration.
"It takes a lot more energy to be in fear, be unhappy or be judgmental than to be joyful, expansive or happy. In fact, being unhappy is exhausting.
"As long as you can be mindful about how you are feeling, the Universe will support you in going towards joy. You are headed back up in frequency, so the natural flow is going in the same direction. This is why it is so important for you to know where you are vibrating. It allows you to be in the driver’s seat and not on automatic pilot. Being conscious of your vibration not only means that you can maneuver through reality with more grace and ease, but also you can dramatically change it by altering your frequency. Experiencing higher frequencies means more potential.
