Here's my final postscript for this election eve (already technically election day at 1 AM.)
Although I have railed at the stupidity of people who refuse to use their innate abilities to read the body language of politicians to determine who is lying and who is not, people who are looking for their idealized, long-lost parents from childhood in their candidates, people who are desperately afraid of change, people who want their own lack of intellectual curiosity validated as somehow "American," although I have decried this inanity, I do know this - there can be no "wrong" outcome today. Whoever is elected, it is merely a reflection of our current state of consciousness and therefore only another measure of where we are and where we need to go.
As John Lennon once wrote so simply and beautifully:
"Nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be."
So be it.
