"Funny, medical science likes to think they've evolved over the years, yet my step-mother's doctors for two years kept telling her her symptoms were early menopause. My step-mother asked for a hysterectomy long before she even had those symptoms, sensing something wasn't right in her body. After she died of ovarian/uterine cancer, I made an appointment with that doctor, knowing she would ask how my step mother was feeling. I went in and didn't get undressed and of course, she said-how's your step-mother doing? I said, she died, wasn't menopause, was cancer. The doctor wouldn't say another word to me.....
