YEP. According to DALLASNEWS.COM, Texas Rep. Betty Brown apologized this morning for saying Asians should simplify their names.
OOOOOHHHHH... Well, since you apologize, Betty, then you wouldn't mind acknowledging that you did so only after the Texas Democratic Party instructed you to apologize following a letter sent to you by New York City Councilman John C. Liu calling for either your apology or resignation.
Said Liu: "It's outrageous and insulting for you to suggest it would 'behoove' us to adopt another name, to give up our birthright and a part of our own identity, in order to exercise our right to vote."
Aayyy, Mr. Liu, she's sorry, eh?
